Susan Parkins

Susan Parkins qualified as an optometrist with a first class optometry degree. She then went on to obtain a bachelors and a masters degree in law, a masters degree in medical ethics and law, and a PhD. She was previously clinical adviser at the College of Optometrists and currently works as an optometric adviser to NHS England (South East), and as a registrant case examiner for the General Optical Council. She is also a trustee for Glaucoma UK and a lay member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters.
